Taylor Steele Cancer Foundation Supporting Young Cancer Warriors
Donate now

Cancer is a life-changing disease, but together we can make a difference and brighten the days of cancer warriors.
Even at a young age, Taylor Steele understood this unique struggle and wanted to do her part in helping other children with cancer. Today, the Taylor Steele Cancer Foundation honors Taylor’s memory by supporting pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Taylor went through it herself, and she knew: Cancer treatment is a drag, and these fighters need every chance to smile, laugh, and love. That’s what your donation goes toward.

Taylor wanted to help other children with cancer smile, so she dreamed of creating an organization that brightened their day with essential support.
“I am a fighter, I want to be a survivor, but mostly, I am a teenager that wants to make a difference in the lives of others.”

From Strong as Steele to Taylor Steele Cancer Foundation
When Taylor first received her diagnosis, her soccer team wore bracelets with the words “Strong as Steele” to show their support. She used this as the inspiration for the name of the foundation.
Strong as Steele was established in 2010 and was active and prosperous until Covid placed all social activities on hold. Now, we are anxious to get it back up and running. We wanted our organization to be easier to recognize, by changing the name to Taylor Steele Cancer Foundation, we put our founder, “Taylor” back where she should be…on our minds and in our hearts.

Current Fund-Raising Campaign:
We’ve pledged to donate $600,000 to Sutter Foundation over the next four years to create a healing garden for pediatric patients.
